Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

It is better to do one project first and then begin to do another than to do several projects at the same time.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Some students prefer doing several projects at the same time for some reasons. in order to do the projects faster. I don’t agree with them. I strongly believe that it is much better to do one project at a time rather than several at once.

When you work on any projects, it is very important to concentrate on them. Concentration can’t be ensured when you do several projects at the same time. But by doing one project at a time, you can focus all your brainpower on that single task. This will make your project much better although you will have to spend more time on all the projects. For example, I had to do two assignments on the same day last week. Instead of doing them together, I researched one project for two days and wrote the first paper, and then I did the same to the next paper. While working on each paper, I did not think about the other one. Therefore, I got A’s on both assignments since I focused on them one each a time separately.

Furthermore, you can get distract by doing two or more assignments at a time. Simultaneous, a person who work on multiple projects often make more mistake because he or she can get confused. On the same assignments I mentioned above, my best friend worked on them both at the same time because he didn’t have enough time to spend on each one of them at a time. Unfortunately, he confused them both. One was supposed to be an opinion essay while the other was a science report. However, he made wrote his essay like a factual report and gave his opinion on the science project report. Because he didn’t do his assignments properly, he got C’s on both projects. I think he will probably never work on two projects at once again.

Working on one project at a time is the best way to get work done. It lets a person focus  to work on his or her task and also keeping the person from confusing or distracting when doing several different assignments. Concentration and precision will make any project successful.
